Dr. Paul Nuyujukian is a physician scientist postdoctoral scholar with the Stanford clinical trial site. He is responsible for, designs, and conducts real-time experiments with clinical trial participants. His areas of focus are in high-performing brain-machine interfaces.
Dr. Nuyujukian earned an MD and a PhD in Bioengineering from Stanford University. His graduate work was in the lab of Krishna Shenoy, where he developed high-performing communication brain-machine interfaces in animal models. These algorithmic and system design advances were recently successfully translated to the BrainGate2 clinical trial.
